Flexible Nutrition Workshop

Are you tired of restrictive yo-yo dieting and ready to create healthy eating habits that meet your lifestyle and enhance your fitness goals? Do you want to enjoy the holidays with family and friends instead of focusing on feeling guilty about everything you eat and drink? Have you tried multiple diets in the past just to go back to where you started months later? Do you restrict your calories and feel guilty most of the time?
We grew up in a culture that focuses on how we look and now how we feel, and no one teaches us that there isn’t only one to be healthy. Our own YWA member, Lauren Hart, will facilitate the Flexible Nutrition Workshop on December 1st and teach us:
- The basics of nutrition and macronutrient
- About portion sizes and how to structure a healthy meal
- Example of grocery lists to set yourself up for success
- How to successfully meal plan
- How to enhance your fitness and nutrition goals
This will be a space for education and open conversation about health, nutrition, and positive body image.
About our Speaker:
Lauren Hart is a Registered Nurse, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and group fitness instructor at Trufusion South Austin. Her fitness journey began in high school when she participated in various sports. She knew then and there that she would forever be active and interested in fitness and nutrition. There’s nothing better than feeling strong, healthy, and inspired, and from her experience as a health professional, she’s committed to helping active individuals enhance their fitness goals through nutrition.
