June In Person Speaker Series with Courtney Clark - ReVisionary Thinking
Wednesday, June 16, 2021 (6:30 PM - 8:00 PM) (CDT)
The Young Women’s Alliance (YWA) is an organization devoted to the professional and personal development of women leaders in Central Texas. For more than 20 years, YWA has been a staple in the Austin community, driven by our four pillars: lead, educate, network, and serve. YWA hosts a Monthly Speaker Series that is free for members and welcomes community leaders with inspirational stories and accomplishments.
Join us for our first in person Speaker Series in more than a year! Space is limited so please unregister if you are unable to make it. Please note this event will be hosted at the Impact Hub location in North Austin.
June's speaker is Courtney Clark. Courtney is a past Austin Under 40 award winner and vivacious keynote speaker who helps organizations adapt to change and crisis when the stakes are high. A 4 time cancer survivor, she has conducted years of research into how we "bounce back" when things collapse and has developed ninja-level skills of adapting.
Courtney's ReVisionary Thinking presentation focuses on systems for adapting that are practical, inspiring, and grounded in research. ReVisionary Thinkers (like Richard Branson, J.K. Rowling, and Steven Spielberg) know how to navigate uncertainty with less confusion, less frustration, and more success. Courtney will share with us the tools of Adaptive Thinking, an evidence-based practice to survive challenges with more than just a positive attitude.
After June's Speaker Series, you will be able to:
6:30-7:00 PM - Network with fellow YWA members at Impact Hub
7:00 PM - YWA Announcements
