The Young Women’s Alliance (YWA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to the professional and personal development of women leaders in Central Texas. For more than 30 years, YWA has been a staple in the Austin community, driven by our four pillars: lead, educate, network, and serve. 

Join us for  The Future of Women Leaders, a.k.a 2023 - 2024 YWA Town Hall!

Each year YWA hosts an annual town hall for members to learn more about the impact YWA is making and hear updates from the Board of Directors on initiatives or goals we have been working on. In addition to the organizational updates, this is an opportunity for members to ask questions and share feedback to the YWA leadership on topics you care about, as well as meet the new incoming Board of Directors and hear more about the experience of serving in YWA leadership.

• Want to learn more about joining a committee
• Want to learn more about how to further your involvement in YWA but not join a committee
• Want to hear more about what YWA's chairs and VP's do and the process to become a chair or VP
• Want to hear updates on how we spend our money
• Want to learn more about where our money comes from
• Want to hear updates on initiatives such as peer to peer fundraising and our Del Valle ISD Scholarships
• Want to get to know our Board of Directors better and engage with YWA leadership

• Location: KMFA, 41 Navasota Street, Austin, TX 78702
  • Parking is free and located under and next to the main building. 
• Food & Drinks: A beautiful grazing table with be provided by Shaking & Baking. As well as wine and non-alcoholoic options. 
• Dress Code: Come as you are

In order to allow for better planning and to provide our members with higher quality programming, we are implementing a no-show policy. All events have limited capacity, so if you registered and are unable to attend we ask that you please unregister within 48h. All no-shows or late cancellations will be charged an automatic $15 no-show fee. Thank you for your understanding and collaboration as we work to provide you with the quality of programming you deserve!
