YWA Speaks: Workshop - Home Sweet Home(owner): A Guide to Homeownership

The Young Women’s Alliance (YWA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to the professional and personal development of women leaders in Central Texas. For more than 30 years, YWA has been a staple in the Austin community, driven by our four pillars: lead, educate, network, and serve. 

Have you thought about buying or building a home but intimidated by the process? Learn about finding your dream realtor, unraveling financing mysteries, navigating inspections, and even alternative types of homeownership you may not have considered! This workshop will walk you through every step of the way and hopefully provide plenty of "home"-spiration!

This workshop will be set up a little differently in order to best serve our topics and varied stages in the home buying process. After brief intros, each of our experts will be seated at a round table. You’ll get the opportunity to sit and speak with two of our experts for 15 minutes each, asking questions and soaking up their wisdom.

In order to allow for better planning and to provide our members with higher quality programming, we are implementing a no-show policy. All events have limited capacity, so if you registered and are unable to attend we ask that you please unregister within 48h. All no-shows or late cancellations will be charged an automatic $15 no-show fee.
